Drifters is a must-try! Had dinner there and everything was delicious. Kim, our server, was fantasticβgreat service and made us feel really welcome. Tasty food, excellent service, definitely a five-star experience!
Drifters is "The GO too place" in Terrace Bay. I've heard others rant about the food fare at this local bar/restaurant and I confirm that the care put into food service is impeccable. The hamburgers are handmade and seasoned to a meat eaters delight. Mushrooms were juicy and cooked to a savory chew. Chicken fingers, wings and fries are also cooked to a tasty temperature. The staff and locals are friendly. The atmosphere is tavern-ish with a touch of catering class. A small patio is available for warmer weather. I haven't tried the entire menu but based on my experiences Drifters sailed it's way to 5 star rating hands down, thumbs up.
If you want a place were you feel loved and not rushed, heres the place. They treat you amazing here and their food is peak. Top tier, been eating here with my tism bestie since grade 10. No place beats it and I mean it. P.S thanks for always letting me be myself there, I love this place because I can make my dirty jokes and laugh without judgement. This place is a home to me and I'm glazing it until the day I die
Place was beautiful! Food was amazing and service very polite. Quick to get you your drinks, and complimentary bread with butter while you wait. Worth the time.
Stopped in on a cross country trip, pulled in by the replica lighthouse across the street. Service was attentive and friendly, I had the special which was a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich with the soup of the day, beef barley. Lots of soup in the portion, and it was hearty. Sandwich not too greasy, which was impressive given the ingredients. I asked for a window sear and was seated at a 6 top by myself despite there being other options.
After living in Terrace Bay for Nine years, I can always vouch for the food at Drifters. Whether itβs Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, Iβve always enjoyed my meals. The Restaurant is cozy and feels like home, the dim lighting and light fire is a great atmosphere to unwind after a long day, or to socialize with family and friends to catch up. This was my first time spending a night in the motel and Iβd like to draw attention to the suite for any families passing through. There was enough room to set up the pack and play next to the bed, and have a play area on the floor. The L-Shaped couch is super comfortable for relaxing and feeding with a view of the lighthouse and uptown Terrace Bay, the blinds are also within reach for privacy. The Jacuzzi Tub can comfortably fit two and is a nice touch to the room. Service at drifters is always with a smile and great conversation. The Lobby always has hot coffee, a great selection of snacks and pre-made lunch options as well. The Lounge offers the same menu as the restaurant, and is a great area to gather with friends. Great establishment and would definitely recommend!
Excellent food at decent prices. I had the steak special. We recommend the locally- sourced pickerel. The meal included a loaf of freshly baked bread. Service was fast & attentive. The patio has a great view of the Terrace Bay lighthouse across the street.
What a lovely little bar located 10 minutes from Schreiber in Terrace Bay. Bam Bam shrimp is a must if you like shrimp! 1 lb of wings felt like I needed more. Drinks were great! They have lots of TVs for sports & a nice pool table too.
